I bought a board from
hypermart, super market, sports shop or any toy shop. Is it a good board?
No, it is a very bad board made from cheap materials heavy,
high centre of gravity, not maneuverable and we skaters consider it as a fake
Skateboard.
- Deck: a- weak ,snappy, not made from hard
rock maple wood
b- No pop to make any good tricks (you won't
be able to Ollie)
c-No concave...how can you flip a board
without concave?!
(You won't be
able to do kickflips and heelflip...)
- Grip
tape: the griptape won't last a day...griptape is needed for
gripping with your shoe so you can bring the board in the air while doing
an ollie
- Wheels: lose speed quickly, flat
spot easily, hang up on a tick-tack, can't handle "real" streets
- Neither worth the money nor the
trouble of skating it since you will be consistently breaking it and pushing
all the time.
What is a pro
skateboard?
Main features in a professional (Pro) skateboard:
1. Pro decks are made of Canadian maple, not Chinese maple which have
shorter life and break easily. We
recommend you always buy Canadian maple decks.
2. The deck has two kickers which are those upward bent ends. Those bent ends are not the same (There's a
nose and a tail). Read more in Skateboard Anatomy so you find out which kicker of your board should be in front.
Note: You will need to have two kickers board
to perform any trick.
3. The deck is not flat as all fake boards; a pro deck has a curved edge
near the kickers which is called Concave which makes the flipping of the
board easier and increases its stiffness (which means it becomes stronger).

4. The grip tape is specially made so it grips to your shoes well
without damaging them. Fake boards have grip tapes that wear out in less than a
week of skating.
Note: We recommend buying special skate shoes
having multiple layers for extra resistance and endurance, but as a beginner
start with flat shoes you don't want anymore because you'll find they're not
going to look the same after being skated.
5. The trucks are die-cast construction to be stronger, more durable
and still light. You do not want to pay
for fake cheap trucks that will break so fast especially that they carry the
board and your weight while you jump and soon grind.
6. Very high quality precise finish ball bearings which make your
wheels rotate smoothly and make you go fast for a long time. Read more in Skateboard

tricktips…Watch skate videos…watch other local skaters, skate with them…let
them help you. Don’t know any skaters? No problem, go to the skate impact forum
and meet other skaters and plan a hangout with them…skating with others really
helps…go skate near Tiba mall you may see some skaters there!!!
What is this part in my skateboard called? What are
bearings? What are trucks?
Bearings are what enable the wheels to
turn. A skateboard contains 8
bearings (2 in each wheel). Bearings are very high precision products; getting
dirt inside it will slow it down and may ruin it. Go to

You can change some
entries in your profile from "members area", changing your address
will have to be done from our side.
To change your
address you will have to send us your name, email address, complete full new

I forgot my account
password. What can I do?
Click on
"Forgot password?" link right next to the login area. Enter your email address and you will receive
an automatic email with a new password.
Use your new
password to login.
Note that password is
case sensitive meaning that you
should write it down as it is (If a letter is capital and you write it small,
it won't work).
You can change your
password to a desired one from "members area".
How much will be the shipping fees?
Well, you will have to have an account by registering on our site first,
submitting your full address with phone number and shipping details.
Add the products you would like to order to your shopping cart.

shipping" button down the page.
Please notice that you will not be able to check your shipping cost

When will I receive my order? How long does it take for
my order to arrive?
-Your
order will be dispatched as soon as possible, but please allow 2 - 3 working
days for delivery. If there is going to be a delay for any reason we will
notify you by e-mail or phone.

, your order will be at your door in:
One day if you place it before
1:00 PM - Two days otherwise
we do our best so you get your order before next skate session
Deliveries
will require a signature. If no-one is present at the delivery address the
parcel will be taken back to your local Aramex distribution centre, and a
calling card left. The card will tell you where your parcel is being stored and
provide a contact number.

Is
my order shipped? Can I track my order?
Yes,
you can track your order from our site until it's shipped. You must be logged in, then enter your order
number in the area dedicated for it in the front page. Also when your order is
shipped you will receive an email notifying you and giving you your "AWB
number" which you can use it on www.ARAMEX.com to track your order when it's out of our office.
I
received my order but there are some items I want to return for a certain
reason.
